Dr. Satya Gupta

Dr. Satya Gupta is a global techno-visionary in the Semiconductor and Electronics industry for more than 40 years. After a 12 years long corporate career at Intel where he worked on Processor Design, Cutting edge EDA tools and Supercomputing systems, he co-founded 4 successful start-ups, Intel Micro-Electronics, Open-Silicon, Concept-2-Silicon and SenZopt in semiconductor and electronics product areas.
 
He was the first to break Tera-Flop barrier for High performance computing in 1994 and was awarded IEEE Gordon Bell award for Super Computing. 

He Co-Founded India Semiconductor Association (IESA) and EPIC Foundation and currently serving as president of VLSI Society of India towards his efforts to Make India a Semiconductor Product Nation. 

For his service towards building semiconductor and VLSI Design ecosystem in India he was conferred Life-time achievement award from VLSI Society of India.

He is currently serving as visiting faculty at IIT Roorkee, Gati Shakti University and IIT Gandhinagar.

He has done BITS, Pilani, IIT Delhi and ODU, Virginia. Dr. Satya Gupta holds 6 patents and has published more than 40 technical papers.
